Meet Dana Kobernick

CommuniKo is led by Dana Kobernick, a versatile writer, critical-thinker and seasoned communications specialist with over fifteen years of experience in the communications industry. With an extensive background in the public health and social services network, Dana has expanded her practice to the private sector and now counts among her clients: management consultants, telecommunications professionals, real estate developers, web site and software developers and professional conference organizers.

Dana recently taught the course “Fundamentals of Public Relations” at Concordia University. She is also currently at work on her first novel and is completing a program at the Humber School for Writers in Toronto, Ontario. She has had her work published in the Montreal Gazette.

An active community supporter, Dana was chairperson of the Communications Committee at Gilda’s Club, a non-profit support community for individuals affected by cancer. She also founded and co-chaired a musical fundraiser for the Segal Centre for Performing Arts, benefiting the Centre’s arts programming.

Dana holds a B.A. from McGill University
